KOKKO. Outous, aitous, alkukehot. Kokoonnutaan kokon äärelle, kokemaan yhteisiä tiloja, keväisiä välitiloja. Kansanperinnettä, rituaalia, kokeilevaa tutkimusta. Taide, luominen ja leikki, jamit, mokat ja kepposet.

Metodit: Rituaaliteatteri, butoh, psykomagia, äänityöskentely.

Kokko on paikka, jossa pyhän ja absurdin rajat sulavat, jossa taide ja magia kietoutuvat yhteen, ja narrin hulluus on ylintä viisautta.

Matkaamme yhdessä pääsiäisen tulien halki, tilaan, jossa syleilemme haavoittuvuutta ja nautimme elämän karnevaalista. Kuuntelemme, miten kiiran ja kokon perinteinen viisaus elää omissa kehoissamme ja ryhmässä. Kutsumme tätä vuodenkierron hetkeä kertomaan tarinoitaan lävitsemme, ja yhdessä puhallamme sen liekkiin, joka ravitsee, eikä tuhoa.

Matkan aikana jokainen osallistuja luo ja ilmentää oman psykomaagisen tekonsa, oman rituaaliperformanssinsa. Henkilökohtaisesta draamasta tulee tarjoamus elämän alttarille; myyttis-poeettinen minä paljastaa itsensä; unen kieli muuttuu todemmaksi kuin arjen
kieli. Teko luo toisen todellisuuden totutun sisään, ja antaa tilaisuuden käsitellä ja luoda maagisin teoin sitä, mihin sanat ja järki eivät yletä.

Kokon tila tulee olemaan herkkä, elävä ja hengittävä kudelma myyttejä, magiaa, omia psyykkisiä prosessejamme, unelmiamme ja pelkojamme. Odotamme Kokkoon noin kymmentä osallistujaa.

Työpaja on tila astua narrin kenkiin, elää taidetta ja taiteena, tutkia luovuutesi ja sielusi muotoja, tulla hillittömäksi, tulla myytiksi.

KOKKO 

Strangeness, authenticity, primal bodies. We gather around the bonfire to experience shared spaces, the liminal space of spring. Folk traditions, ritual, experimental ways of being. Art, creation, and play, jamming, mistakes, and mischief. 

Methods: Ritual theatre, butoh, psychomagic, voice work.

Kokko is a place, where the boundaries between the sacred and the absurd melt, where art and magic entwine, and the madness of the Fool is supreme wisdom.

We journey together through the fires of easter, into a space of embracing vulnerability and enjoying the carnival of life. We listen to how the traditional wisdom of kiira (Holy Thursday purification) and the kokko (easter bonfire) lives in our bodies and in the group body. We invite this point in the wheel of the year to tell its stories through us, as together we feed the fire that nourishes, instead of that which destroys.

During the gathering each participant will create and present their own psychomagic act, their own ritual performance. The personal life-drama becomes an offering to the altar of life; the mytho-poetic self offers a revelation of itself; the language of dreaming becomes more true than the language of day. The psychomagic act creates another reality in the heart of the ordinary, and offers an opportunity to engage in a transformative process that which can only be worked by magic, where common sense-making cannot reach.

The space of Kokko will be a tender, living and breathing tapestry of myth, magic, our own psychic processes, dreams and fears. We are looking for 10-12 players.

The workshop offers a space to step into the shoes of the Fool; make life living art; explore the shapes of your creativity and soul;  become unbridled;  become a myth.
